Reflection 9-12-21

 Today in class we went over the steps to complete the second part of our group projects. The second part of our project is finding sources. You must reach the EBSCO database. The first step is to narrow our topic. Next, set the date of the results to 2011-21. After completing this step you should scan over at least 6 results. Then you must read the abstract , and click on the pdf.

Reflection; 8-11-21

 Today was a gloomy day. On gloomy days I tend to drag throughout the day. Multiple times I was tempted to fall asleep. Once getting to your 4th period and seeing the poetry for us to analyze I immediately got discouraged as it isn’t my strong suit. Eventually I gave in to the temptations. I may have missed important information but i’m confident I got the bulk of the lesson. I’m hoping for a more upbeat lesson tomorrow.

Reflection: 11-30-21

 Today in class we read  a short story that wasn't really short. The was called Rockpile by James Baldwin. We had a discussion  about the story in class. The story was about a hangout for older kids called the rockpile. The rockpile was considered a bad place for younger kids because it was dangerous.  One day Johns brother Roy decided to go to the rockpile even though their mother told them not to. While at the rockpile their was a gang fight and Roy was injured. The father tried to blame John but the mother defended him.

Reflection: 4-21-22

 Today in class we went over analyzing sources.  I was in group C and we had a data source. This source was about people using social media against students admissions and for jobs. The assignment was simple . I enjoyed class today.
